Margaret Hodge
Margaret Hodge has been Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee since 2010. Prior to this she served as a Government Minister under Tony Blair and Gordon Brown in the Department of State for Culture, Media & Tourism, Trade & Industry, Work & Pensions, and the Department for Education & Skills where she was appointed Britain's first Children's Minister. Prior to this she was a member of Islington Council for twenty-one years and Leader of the Council for ten of these.
Margaret has represented Barking since 1994. At the 2010 General Election she doubled her majority against Nick Griffin.
